Dear Future includes a new hybrid film installation, mixed media paintings, sculpture and print work informed by ruptures and imaginary forests. This work contemplates forests as places where questions of bio-diversity, survival, indigenous struggle and non-human agency are playing out. Through a speculative process that calls in the forest, visions of an ecological future connect with histories of colonization and the lush internal spaces of desire, longing and the imagination.
